Just as new hardware technology can be confusing so can computer software and it can often be software that is causing the problem. Total Care advisors know the Windows operating system inside out and can talk you through how to set up your software to do what you want it to do.
Hassle free deliveries and collections
Should a service centre repair be required, Total Care customer service team will arrange deliveries and collections to suit you. They will also send a text message to your mobile phone alerting you to the delivery or collection date. All deliveries and collections are made by reputable courier companies and are insured against loss or damage. Suitable packaging material is also available.
Access to Total Care experienced repair engineers
Total Care engineers know your product inside. They specialize in PC and Flat Screen products and have a wealth of knowledge, particularly on Time products, that is not available anywhere else. Their service centre is equipped with all the necessary tools to repair both computers and large plasma televisions. Stock of spare parts and upgrade parts is also reserved for Total Care members. In addition to all this engineers have access to your customer history, so can detect any recurring problems, and access to the model build specifications and software installation details from the factory.
PC and Notebook Re-load Discs
Total Care and Support worked closely with Time UK to develop a simple way of resetting their PCs and Notebooks to their factory settings. Meaning the computer is restored to its 'out of the box' set up. The process works by unlocking a locked set of files on the computers hard drive. It is a simple process and can solve most problems caused by accidentally deleting or over writing files. Please note all data on the computer must be backed up before this process is performed.
Anti Virus, Anti Hacker, Internet Security and Parental Controls software
Connect to the Internet or use e-mail without any protection and your computer will very quickly start to suffer. Malware, Spyware, Viruses, Trojans and other malicious programs are easily transferred to your system without you realising - some just make your computer run slowly, others can render it un-useable. Total Care and Support offer protection against such disasters as part of our Gold support package. New viruses and attacks are being discovered all the time (there is a new virus detected every 18 seconds) our Gold package includes regular updates for the duration of you membership.
Total Care know your customer history and your product
All technical support, service repair centre and customer service teams can bring up the details of the product you purchased at the touch of a button. This enables them to quickly and accurately resolve any problems you may be experiencing. They won't waste your time asking questions about the contents of your PC, (questions you may not be able to answer) this makes us more efficient, and so it costs less to help you and therefore saves you money.
Labour charge free - PC upgrades
Silver and Gold members can take advantage of the labour charge free PC upgrade service. If you are unhappy with your PCs performance a component upgrade can often resolve the problem and is less expensive than a new PC. Total Care's friendly Hotline advisors will help you decide the right upgrade for you and because they know your system spec, can advise what upgrade will work. They will then arrange for your system to be collected by insured courier and delivered to the service centre engineers. The upgrade will be carried out swiftly and tested thoroughly. It will then be returned to you, again by insured courier. All you pay for is the upgraded part and because we buy in bulk our upgrades are not expensive.
PC and Notebook Health Checks
Keeping your computer 'healthy' is the best way to protect yourself from the inconvenience of a breakdown. Time Group's specially developed Health Check software can help eliminate potential problems. You simply run the software every 2 or 3 months (or as often as you like) and it will perform over 10 essential checks to keep your system running smoothly. The software is easy to use and will not remove or change any of your personal settings, but if you do need help running it our friendly advisors are on the end of the phone to help.
Remote on-site PC repair service
This is a great facility available to Gold members, with your permission; Total Care technical engineers can access your computer via your Internet connection. Then rather than talk you through making changes to your software setting, they can actually do it for you. It is a little un-nerving at first to see you cursor moving around your screen without you touching anything. But when you get used to it you can follow what is being done and should the problem re-occur you might be able to fix it yourself with your new found knowledge.
Upgrade / Downgrade - Our flexible support packages
If you find you need more from your chosen support package, say you would like the anti-virus/Internet security protection and the remote on-site service you can upgrade at anytime. Your direct debit payment will change accordingly and you will receive the additional benefits immediately. Alternatively if you find you would like to downgrade, after the first 12 months you may do so.
Transfer of support package option
Quite often people pass on their products to a friend or family member or sell them to buy a new one. If this happens to you, the support package can be transferred to the new owner. Total Care simply change the details of ownership and the direct debit information and the new owner can receive all the same benefits of Total Care membership.
All Parts and Labour cover
With a Total Care support package, all your parts and labour are covered for 3 years.
